Hingham Wicked Local November 30. 2015 10:55AM
On Tuesday, Dec. 1, Tryst Studio, at 29 Main St. in Hingham, hosts its 4th annual TRYSTMAS holiday shopping extravaganza from 7 to 10 p.m. to support and promote women-owned small businesses in and around Boston. This year, Linda Holliday, Founder and CEO of the Bill Belichick Foundation will be a welcome and inspirational guest at Tryst Studio’s TRYSTMAS. Holliday has owned and operated several successful small businesses and understands the demands and challenges of such.
Linda says, “Connecting with and supporting local female business owners is mutually nourishing personally, to our communities and ultimately, the economy. I am dedicated to doing good work with good women and to having fun while I am doing it.”
Tryst Studio owner, Kelly O’Keefe, says “Trystmas is always a celebration for us, but first and foremost, it is a platform for women-owned businesses to showcase and sell their goods in a setting other than their own storefront, gallery or online boutique. My hope is that every woman leaves TRYSTMAS feeling inspired, motivated, and connected to new women who like to support women.”
This year participating merchants include: Alexis Kletjian Jewelry; ARFotography; Best Dressed; Bo Line Boutique; Judy Stavis Designs; I Heart Arm Warmer; Ports and Company; Style on the Hill Tryst Studio; The Wine Bottega; The Rolling Roost.
According to data published by the Commonwealth Institute, “Women-owned businesses account for nearly 200,000 firms in Massachusetts and employ more than 175,000 across the state. This year’s Top 100 Women-Led Businesses generate a combined revenue in excess of $73 billion.”
Tryst Studio is a multi-award winning studio known for its signature brow design, fresh and flawless makeup application, and comprehensive menu of waxing and skincare services. Owner and Artist, Kelly O’Keefe, opened Tryst in April 2012 inspired by years of work with brides.
